WOMEN’S CLINIC
CLINIC
The ever-popular Tripleshot Women’s Cycling Clinics are designed by women, for women. Whether you’re just starting and want to learn how to ride safely in a group, or you already ride comfortably and want to get faster and more skilled, this clinic is for you.
The clinic runs over 6 weeks every spring, from April to June. The first session is off the bike, when participants meet coaches and fellow riders, and learn basic bike maintenance. The remaining sessions are on the bike, and feature skills practice and longer rides. Clinic sessions happen rain or shine (only extreme weather cancels).
Participants are placed in groups based on their skill and comfort level, with adjustments made along the way as needed. Novice groups focus on building confidence and safety; more advanced groups focus on technique, speed, and efficiency.
Skills Covered:
Safe group riding (drafting, pacelines, communication)
Bike handling and cornering
Climbing and descending
Safety drills and team time trial practice
Basic maintenance (fixing flats, keeping your bike running smoothly)
Bike Requirements:
To keep everyone safe, all participants need a road or cyclocross bike with drop handlebars. No flat-bar bikes or e-bikes, please.
