To the TSC Exec, if it's not too late, I suggest we create two new awards - one for "Most Diplomatic Post of the Year" the other for "Least Diplomatic Post of the Year". I can think of a good candidate for each.

Hi Martin; I’m sure that Tripleshot could afford to subsidize some memberships for some prospective new members if fees are actually what’s limiting access. Coincidentally, Alan C and I were discussing this exact thing yesterday. TSC certainly has the financial strength to afford to subsidize (or even waive) the club membership fee for those with demonstrated financial need (e.g., students, etc.), and I think the idea is worth considering. I underlined the last bit, however, to emphasize that I'd also be surprised if fees are what's really limiting access to most who would like to join the club - especially when weighed against the other associated costs (like, um, a bike! and all the necessary equipment and kit).
