This 2 km rectangular course replaces the Tripleshot “Western Speedway” VCL course and will provide fast, fun riding. Just east of the Stelly’s Rd and Wallace 4 way stop: https://www.strava.com/segments/31616978 Register Now! 11:00am - Start time for the C and new Novice (D) category. This new Novice category is meant to welcome new riders young and less young to “pack racing” and will be lead by Tripleshot Youth Team Cycling Coach Lister Farrar. Scenarios include riding some laps together in a no drop group and then race 1-2 laps, rest and repeat! In the true Tripleshot Ethos of “the most important person in the ride is everyone else” please consider signing up for Novice (D) even if you are more experienced rider, but not interested in racing in C, in order to provide more of a “pack” experience for the Novice riders. You could also sign up and ride with your kid(s)! C to race for 25 minutes plus a lap with Novice starting just after the C and finishing before C’s final lap. 11:30am - A’s start and race for 50 minutes plus two laps with B’s starting shortly after and racing for 45 min plus two laps. Looks like all Sunday North Saanich VCLs, including this upcoming one March 19 (and Mar 26, and Aprî 23) will have an 11:30 am start time to accommodate riders coming over from the mainland on the 9 am ferry . The other Sunday VCL’s may have different, likely earlier start times.
